Health and Safety Manager
A leading UK recycling and waste management business is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead compliance and drive a strong safety culture across its operations. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced HandS professional from recycling, waste, or another technical/industrial environment.Key responsibilities include:Leading health and safety strategy and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry standardsConducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety/environmental auditsDeveloping and maintaining safe systems of work and method statementsInvestigating incidents and near-misses and implementing improvementsDelivering HandS training, inductions, and toolbox talksLiaising with regulators and overseeing COSHH, PPE, and health surveillanceRequirements:NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma preferred)3-5 years'' experience in a HandS management role within a technical or industrial settingStrong knowledge of HandS legislation including WEEE, RIDDOR, PUWER, and COSHHDetails:Full-time, permanentMonday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 (47.5 hours)Salary: 45,000- 50,000 per annumBenefits include pension scheme and on-site parking To find out more, please contact Adam or Scott on (phone number removed) INDENGPlanet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
