Part 2 Scaffolder
Overview
One Call Consultants are looking for up to 10 Part 2 Scaffolders to join our large scaffolding client based on a job in Cambridge CB1
Join our dynamic team as a Part 2 Scaffolder and be a vital contributor to safe, efficient, and high-quality scaffolding operations on construction sites. In this role, you will work alongside experienced scaffolders to assemble, dismantle, and inspect scaffolding structures that support various building projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety of all team members while maintaining productivity and adhering to industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
Duties
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding structures following safety protocols and technical specifications
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly for damage or wear, reporting issues promptly to supervisors
- Ensure all scaffolding is securely anchored and stable before use
- Follow detailed instructions from senior scaffolders to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, materials, and debris to promote safety and efficiency
- Support the transportation and positioning of scaffolding materials around the site as needed
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in construction or scaffolding environments is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated learners
- Basic understanding of scaffolding components, safety procedures, and industry standards is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights when required
- Valid certifications such as OSHA safety training or equivalent are a plus but not essential; training opportunities are available for candidates eager to obtain necessary qualifications

This job is to start ASAP and is on for 8 weeks possibly longer
Hours of work are 7.30 till 4.30 Monday to Friday with possible overtime available
You must display a can do attitude and have excellent time keeping
