Paralegal / Senior Paralegal – RTA / Volume Motor – Up to £38K salary

A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join its specialist Volume Motor team, with opportunities available in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The team defends motor claims on behalf of insurer clients, handling a high-volume caseload of litigated RTA matters in a collaborative environment.This is a hands-on role involving full case ownership of approximately 70 litigated files. You will manage cases from issue through to trial, draft pleadings, value claims using the Judicial College Guidelines and case law, and negotiate settlements. You will regularly communicate with external stakeholders including counsel, courts, insurers, brokers, and claimants’ solicitors. Previous experience handling litigated Motor/RTA claimsCompetent in managing a busy caseload independentlyStrong drafting skills with knowledge of court procedureAbility to value personal injury claims and assess special damagesExcellent negotiation and telephone advocacy skillsComfortable preparing witness statements and attending conferences with counselProficient in using case management systemsOrganised, detail-focused, and able to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and a professional mannerThe Benefits and How to Apply
