Associate Solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE)
to join a highly regarded
Personal Injury team
in Leeds. This position offers exposure to complex, high-value cases involving
catastrophic injuries , including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation claims.Hybrid working availableThe successful candidate will work closely with leading Partners on life-changing cases, gaining invaluable hands-on experience, while also developing the confidence to manage their own caseload as appropriate.This is a role that combines first-class technical legal work with the chance to make a genuine impact on the lives of seriously injured clients and their families.Key Responsibilities
Supporting senior lawyers on high-value catastrophic injury claims.Running your own caseload of personal injury matters (with appropriate supervision).Drafting witness statements, pleadings, and legal documents.Instructing experts and Counsel.Managing disclosure, preparing trial bundles, and conducting litigation proceedings.Advising clients and their families with empathy and clarity throughout the claims process.Attending interim hearings and engaging with ADR where required.Supervising and delegating work to paralegals and trainees.Maintaining accurate time recording, billing, and financial performance.Actively contributing to business development, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.What We’re Looking For
A qualified Solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE) with a strong grounding in litigation.Experience in
serious or catastrophic personal injury
is highly desirable.Excellent technical skills and a solid understanding of relevant procedural and evidential issues.A strong academic background with sound clinical knowledge relating to catastrophic injury claims.Why Apply?
