Primary Teacher – Full Time | Supportive Faith School | September Start

Location: Southampton area (easily accessible from Waterside and surrounding Hampshire areas)
Type of School: Primary (Church of England)
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Full time role: Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2026

We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher (EYFS / KS1 / KS2) to join a welcoming and values driven Church of England primary school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher who is passionate about delivering high quality teaching, nurturing the whole child, and supporting pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and organised classroom environment
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
• Provide clear feedback to support pupils in taking ownership of their learning
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
• Promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
•  Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school

Additional Responsibilities (for experienced teachers):

• Lead a core subject or foundation subject area
• Support whole school improvement priorities
• Contribute to curriculum development and staff support

TLR opportunities may be available for candidates with leadership experience or ambition.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and assessment practices
• Evidence of high quality classroom practice and pupil progress
• Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships across the school community
• Interest in contributing to the values and ethos of a faith based school
