Bid Solutions are working with a friendly and dynamic Low Energy Building Consultancy based in the heart of Wilmslow Town Centre who are seeking to employ an experienced Bid Manager. They are looking for a proven Bid Manager who can take full ownership of the process and shape how the business grows. This is a strategic, hands-on role. You will be the driving force behind their bids - not just writing proposals but building the systems and strategies that help them secure the right projects and grow in the right direction.They are at an exciting point in their journey. You will be responsible for the entire bid lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities, to creating standout submissions, and ultimately winning high-value work.You will have the autonomy to build a scalable bidding process that aligns with their commercial goals, while having the full support of senior leadership when you need it.You will be the driving force behind their bids - not just writing proposals but building the systems and strategies that help them secure the right projects and grow in the right direction.What you will bring

A track record of winning public sector bids, ideally within construction, sustainability, or building servicesProven experience applying for frameworks, tenders, and complex bid processesConfidence in navigating public procurementThe ability to translate technical input into persuasive commercial responsesStrong project and time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlinesA strategic mind with a hands-on attitudeThe confidence to make “Bid” or “No Bid Decisions”Experience in low-energy buildings, retrofit, or renewable technologies is a bonusShould this position be of interest, please contact Lisa Easthope at Bid Solutions
