Electrical Maintenance Engineer Stourbridge £40,000 + Overtime 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Days - staggered working hours between 5:00am and 5:00pm The Opportunity We are supporting an established heavy engineering and manufacturing business that is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrician to join its engineering team. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, fault finding and improving a wide range of manufacturing plant and equipment. The successful candidate will work as part of the engineering team to maximise plant reliability, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation. Key Responsibilities As Electrical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrician, you will: - Carry out electrical fault finding, diagnosis and repair on manufacturing machinery and associated plant. - Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. - Install, maintain, test and repair electrical equipment and machinery. - Fault find on electrical control circuits, three-phase power supplies and AC/DC systems. - Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and PLC/Ladder diagrams. - Maintain motors, switches, wiring and other electrical equipment. - Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs to minimise production downtime. - Support the development and improvement of PPM schedules and maintenance systems. - Identify root causes of recurring ..... full job details .....
