We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the busy Private Client department of a long-established law firm in Gravesend. This is an interesting and varied role providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to three fee earners, covering a broad range of Private Client and Probate matters. Your duties will include: Providing full secretarial support to three fee earners within the Private Client team Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence, attendance notes and file notes Preparing and amending Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Codicils Assisting with Probate applications, estate accounts and Inheritance Tax forms Managing diaries and arranging appointments, meetings and client calls Liaising professionally with clients, beneficiaries, executors, attorneys, financial institutions and other third parties Answering telephone calls and dealing with general Private Client enquiries Opening new client files and assisting with client onboarding, including ID and anti-money laundering checks Assisting with the administration and progression of probate and estate matters Managing incoming and outgoing post, emails and correspondence Maintaining accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems Ensuring files are kept up to date and compliant with internal and regulatory requirements Assisting with billing, file management and matter progression Providing support and cover across the wider department ..... full job details .....
