This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in product development within a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of mechanical components and assemblies. Working closely with the RandD and production teams, you will ensure designs are accurate, manufactural and delivered within tight turnaround times.Key Responsibilities:• Create and maintain detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks • Support RandD engineers with rapid design modifications and prototype development • Translate concepts into fully manufactural designs • Participate in assembly processes including plastic moulding, PCB integration and metal fabrication • Ensure designs meet quality, cost and manufacturing requirements • Provide hands-on engineering support during production and assemblyThe Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will have:• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks • BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline • Proven experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment • Good understanding of assembly processes, including plastic moulding and PCBs • Strong attention to detail and
