Frame Maker/Joiner

I am delighted to be recruiting for my Client who are based between Wakefield and Dewsbury for experienced Frame Maker/Joiner to join their expanding business.

You will be joining a business who manufactures high end, luxury beds working with premium fabrics.

Working within a modern, professionally equipped workshop for a Client who invests in both the latest tools and machinery and provide ongoing personal development for their Employees this is a great opportunity for experienced Frame Maker/Joiner to be part of their growth plans.

The positions are offered on a temporary to permanent basis with immediate starts available.

Duties

• Fabricating and assembling bed frames, headboards and footstools
• Working with both hardwood and softwood
• Using hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Following order sheets to meet production targets
• Ensuring all frames are structurally sound and upholstery-ready
• Supporting with general production duties when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery, frame making or furniture production
• Good speed while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Ability to read and work from order sheets
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience in bed or sofa frame making is an advantage but not essential.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700

Payrate

Up to £16.00 per hour based upon experience
