Technical Project Manager - Water Sector - Engineering ConsultancyLocation: Primarily remote with occasional visits to Reading Contract: 12 months initially Rate: Negotiable Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of engineering projects within the water and wastewater sector. You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery aligned with industry standards. Key ResponsibilitiesManage engineering project delivery from planning through execution.Develop technical and commercial documentation to support project goals.Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities.Ensure compliance with client methodologies and quality standards.Coordinate across engineering disciplines for integrated delivery.Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders. Candidate RequirementsMinimum 10 years post-graduate engineering experience, with at least 3 years in the water industry.Proven leadership managing teams of 10+ in complex projects.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Relevant degree and Chartered status or equivalent preferred.Project management certification (Prince2, PMQ, MSP) desirable.
