Salary: £30,500 + Bonus | OTE £34,000

We're looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded Sales Consultant to join a successful and growing business in Barking.

This isn't a role where you'll simply stand behind a counter and wait for customers to come to you. We want someone who enjoys the thrill of a sale, knows how to ask the right questions and can turn an initial enquiry into a long-term customer relationship.

The Opportunity

From handling inbound enquiries to identifying opportunities, closing sales and delivering exceptional service, you'll be at the heart of the business.

What will you be doing?

• Turning customer enquiries into successful sales through a confident, consultative approach.

• Building rapport with customers, understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions.

• Proactively following up leads and maximising every sales opportunity.

• Working towards individual and team sales targets, with the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.

• Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services.

• Delivering outstanding customer service across face-to-face, telephone and email enquiries.

• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards.

• Building lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and recommendations.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for personality, sales ability and ambition, not experience in a particular industry.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in consultative sales, telesales or a sales-focused customer service role.

• A proven ability to convert enquiries into sales and achieve targets.

• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and face-to-face.

• A natural ability to build rapport, ask the right questions and overcome objections.

• A proactive attitude and the motivation to go above and beyond.

• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

• A positive, enthusiastic personality and a willingness to learn.

Experience in automotive sales, premium retail, property, memberships, telecoms or other relationship-led sales environments would be particularly interesting.

You'll need to live within 60 minutes of Barking.
