Mechanical Technician Location: Conwy, North Wales Salary - £27,000 - £32,000 The Role Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Technician to join our Manufacturing Department. You will be responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and fault-finding a wide range of mechanical and electro-mechanical products to the highest standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Build, assemble, and fit mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and build manuals. Conduct mechanical testing, pressure testing, and functional checks to verify assembly integrity. Competent in the use of precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers) to inspect components. Perform fault-finding and undertake repairs on mechanical assemblies and associated equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment. Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to meet production schedules. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department. Essential Requirements Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, machining, or a similar production environment. Applications from recent engineering graduates are also welcomed.
