An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cloud DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established biotech company using large-scale genetic data and AI to predict disease risk and advance precision healthcare.As a Cloud DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will focus on building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring the highest standards of security and availability.This is a contract-based role (6-12 months) offering hybrid / remote working options, a salary range of £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35) and benefits.Responsibilities:Develop and automate infrastructure for cloud-native networks, integrating APIs for seamless operations.Work with virtual cloud firewall appliances (e.g., CheckPoint, Cisco) to ensure network security.Implement and manage routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, with a focus on high-availability designs.Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting.Support infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and GitOps principles.Contribute to an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.What We Are Looking For:Previously worked as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer, Cloud Platform Engineer, Cloud Operations Engineer,o
