CNC Miller (Setting / Operating) - 15- 16 per hour - Halstead - Temp to PermAn established engineering manufacturer is currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their busy production team. Working within the production department and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring milling machines to ensure high-quality components are produced efficiently and safely. You will use both Mazak and Fanuc controls. Key Responsibilities Setting up milling machines ready for productionAdjusting machine settings such as speeds and feedsCarrying out in-process and final inspection using precision measuring equipmentIdentifying and resolving machine or process issues during the shiftMonitoring output quality and recording approved and non-conforming partsShift PatternsDay Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pmEarly Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm ( 5 per day shift premium)Late Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-11:00pm, Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm ( 10 per day shift premium, Mon-Thurs)Experience and Skills RequiredCNC milling and CNC turning (advantageous)Ability to read and work from engineering drawingsPrevious experience setting and programming (advantageous) Knowledge of general machine shop practicesExperience with Mazak and Fanuc controls is advantageousIf you are an experienced CNC Setter / Operator looking for your next long-term opportunity, we''d like to hear from you.
