Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!Here at Blueprint Recruitment one of our top leading clients is seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them in a contract role, working on commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid role with up to three days a week in the clients office in Leeds.Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy, focused on delivering innovative solutions across a variety of sectors.Key Responsibilities:-Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.-Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies.-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.Key Requirements:-A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.-Proven experience in mechanical design engineering (ideally 3+ years).-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.-Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.-A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.
