The child can display defiant and challenging behaviour, therefore a calm, patient, and empathetic approach is essential.You will:Provide one-to-one support tailored to the pupil s individual needsSupport engagement with learning activities, both in and out of the classroomEncourage positive behaviour and social interactions with peersImplement behaviour strategies in line with school guidanceWork closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure a consistent and joined-up approachSupport the child s emotional regulation and well-beingThe school is looking for a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who:Has previous experience supporting children with SEN and behavioural needsIs calm, resilient, and consistent in their approachDemonstrates a professional and child-centred attitudeIs committed to inclusive educationPart-time: 5 mornings per weekHo
