Working Foreman - GroundworksLocation: CoventrySalary: 45,000 - 55,000Job Type: Full-timeWe are looking for an experienced Working Foreman to join an established and growing civil engineering team, 2 years work in Coventry initially.The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience within civils and groundworks, with the ability to lead a site team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day works.The RoleYou will be responsible for overseeing groundworks and civil engineering activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key responsibilities will include:Managing daily site operations and allocating labour effectively.Reading and working from drawings and specifications.Ensuring works are completed to programme and required standards.Liaising with site management, engineers and subcontractors.Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.Carrying out quality checks and resolving issues as they arise.Leading by example and being prepared to get hands-on when required.About YouWe are looking for someone with:Extensive experience in civil engineering and groundworks.Proven experience as a Foreman, Working Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar.Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, concrete, foundations, utilities and associated civils.The ability to read drawings and understand construction specifications.Good leadership and communication skills.A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.A ..... full job details .....
