SED Services Ltd is a family run Organics Recycling and Haulage Business founded in 2005. Our farming roots established much earlier than this, and our business evolved from our arable and livestock farming enterprise into composting. Our Business is based from our Head Office in Wigan, where we operate a large Composting and Aggregate Recycling centre. We also operate two further composting sites, based in Formby and Kirkby, accepting hundreds of thousands of tons of waste for treatment. Our innovative processes allow us to produce High Quality certified composts and soils for both wholesale and retail outlets across the country. 2026 is a key year for our business as we have a purpose-built, office and workshop under construction to be opened in the summer months. Description of Role SED Services Ltd are actively seeing a qualified HGV fitter / Mechanic, to join our busy team. HGV experience is essential for this role and would suit a self-motivated, organised, conscientious individual. Primary responsibilities would include; Performing major and minor repairs to Class 1 and 2 Vehicles, arctic trailers, including; walking floors, arctic tippers and low loader trailers, also repairs and servicing to other vehicles in the company fleet.
