Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Ward Hosts to work at a hospital based in Swindon.The Ward Host plays a dual role by maintaining hygienic environments and serving food and beverages to patients in accordance with dietary requirements and Trust protocols.Key accountabilitiesPrepare and distribute patient meals/snacks and hot/cold beverages.Work collaboratively with nursing and ward staff to ensure cleaning schedules are coordinated with patient care needs.Liaise with ward staff to ensure patient dietary needs, allergies, and preferences are adhered to.Clean patient areas, including bed spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to NHS cleaning standards.Record food temperatures and fridge logs as per policy.Clean clinical and non-clinical areas including wards, toilets, corridors, waiting areas, offices, and treatment rooms.Undertake scheduled deep cleans, including isolation rooms and high-risk areas.Hours and PayWe have two shifts patterns available, either 4 on 4 off 1.30pm- 8pm or working 5 out of 7 days a week 1pm- 7.30pm.The hourly rate for this role is 16.41.These are long term, ongoing positions.To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in a similar role and be willing to undergo a DBS.For further information please contact Ella at Berry Recruitment, King''s LynnWe are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment.
