Experienced plumbers are required for a new build care home project to carry out high-quality first fix, second fix, and plant room installation and commissioning. The successful candidates will work from drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements to deliver compliant, defect-free plumbing installations. 1st Fix Plumbing Interpret design drawings and plans for pipework routing and installation. Install hot and cold water distribution systems. Set out and install soil, waste and vent (SWV) systems in accordance with specifications. Install pipework in walls, floors, and service voids ready for later fixtures. Install plant room distribution mains and isolation valves for later connection. Set out support brackets, clips, hangers, and fixings as required. Prepare for mechanical services integration where applicable. Ensure all connections are correctly positioned for ease of second fix. 2nd Fix Plumbing Install sanitary ware including toilets, basins, bidets, showers, tubs and associated chrome fittings. Connect and test faucets, mixer taps, flushing systems, and valves. Install water heaters, showers, drains, traps, wastes, and trims. Accurately fit and commission service fittings to manufacturer standards. Seal and finish exposed pipework as required for client inspection.
