An exciting opportunity has arisen at a large UK pension fund to join the Investment Strategy team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and maintaining key models used for portfolio construction, asset class and macro research.The key responsibilities:Conduct impactful research on strategic and cyclical aspects of asset classes and asset allocationLead research projects on client portfolio construction framework including the integration of ESG factorsSupport with the delivery of research analytics and develop a strong understanding of the team’s research agendaDevelop and maintain key research models used within the Investment Strategy teamUndertake portfolio construction analysis and support asset model parametrisation processMaintain and improve research data and processes used within the teamDeliver and present research findings and investment implications to the wider Investment teamThe successful candidate will have:5-8 years’ relevant experience building investment modelsGood understanding of quantitative methods and portfolio construction theoryAnalytical skills, a quantitative orientation, and a detail-oriented mindsetProficient programming skills, particularly in Python, would be beneficialWorking towards CFA qualificationProactive and purpose-drivenAbility to communicate effectively in both written papers and presentationsApply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
