Our client is looking for a Database Administrator to join their IT Systems Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced database professional to play a key role in maintaining, securing, and enhancing critical database platforms that support business operations. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, optimisation, and security of a range of database technologies, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, resilience, and compliance. Working closely with Systems Applications, Infrastructure, and Technology teams, you will also lead database-related projects, drive continuous improvement, and support the introduction of new solutions across the organisation. Salary: Up to £72,000 plus bonus and benefits Location: 3 days in Kent - London boarders Skills required: Proven experience as a Database Administrator or Database Engineer Strong administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL Experience with database monitoring, performance tuning, optimisation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions. Experience implementing database security and access control best practices.
