This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to grow your career while being at the heart of the events and hospitality industry.Position Overview
As a People Operations Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of staffing events. From onboarding and compliance checks to scheduling shifts and supporting staff on-site, you’ll ensure that our clients have the best teams in place for seamless event delivery.You’ll be part of a supportive office team in Bristol, working closely with the rest of the team and our large network of casual workers. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities
Staffing and Scheduling:
Matching staff to client requirements and placing them into shifts.Communication:
Sharing shift details, role expectations, and updates with staff to ensure they are fully prepared.Onboarding and Compliance:
Conducting Right to Work checks and ensuring all legal and regulatory standards are met.Recruitment and Advertising:
Promoting roles to attract new talent and maintaining a strong pipeline of staff.Attendance and Reliability:
Managing reminders, check-ins, and see-offs to maximise shift attendance.On-Site Support:
Coordinating teams at events, ensuring smooth arrivals and operations.Out-of-Hours Support:
Handling urgent staffing queries and last-minute changes when required.Operations Support:
Maintaining records, processing admin, and supporting portfolios as needed.Skills and Experience
A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.A keen interest in the events and hospitality industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferred but not essential).Must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive.A willingness to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as and when needed.Ambition to grow and develop in your role and careerAbility to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.Why Join TWG?
