Own analytics datasets and pipelines for specific product domains with real-world impact. You’ll have full autonomy to drive the analytics direction for your areas – from defining success metrics to building self-serve capabilities.Combine cutting-edge data engineering with purpose-driven analytics.Technical Environment

Modern Analytics Stack: SQL and Python in dbt on Airflow infrastructureData Warehouse Architecture: Dimensional data modelling for big data infrastructures; modern distributed data warehouses (Databricks experience a plus)BI and Semantic Layer: Looker for semantic models and self-serve analyticsOrchestration: Airflow for pipeline automation and schedulingOur Analytics Approach

Collaborative partner in a matrix organisation with 12 Analytics Engineers and 3 Platform EngineersBuild: easy-to-understand datasets, well-tested data assets, self-serve capabilities, documentation, and best practices in data transformation pipelinesCoach: close collaboration with software engineers on data captureWhat You Need

Comfort owning analytics infrastructure end-to-end, from defining key metrics with cross-functional partners to building production pipelinesValue clean dimensional modelling, testing, and documentation as first-order concernsEnjoy coaching others on self-serve analyticsRequired ExperienceDimensional data modelling for analytics / data warehouses / big data infrastructuresHigh proficiency in SQL (any dialect)Programming in Python, Java or other languageDeep understanding of data warehouse technologiesHands-on with BI tools such as Looker or TableauTrack record using transformation tools such as dbtPractical experience with orchestration systems such as AirflowStrong communication skills with proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesBonus ExperienceDatabricks implementation or migration experienceConsumer-facing product analytics backgroundLocation and Benefits
