Great with detail, comfortable with Excel and enjoy keeping a busy sales team organised?

We''re looking for a Sales Administrator to join an established and successful consumer products business, supporting its sales team and major retail customers.

This is much more than basic admin.

You''ll be right in the middle of the sales operation, helping with everything from new product set-ups and promotions through to customer orders, stock availability and retailer queries.

You''ll work closely with Sales, Logistics, Stock Control and Customer Service to make sure everything promised to customers actually happens.

That will include:

• Setting up new products and completing retailer documentation

• Maintaining product, pricing and customer information

• Supporting new product launches and sales proposals

• Managing information through retailer portals

• Setting up and checking customer promotions

• Processing and supporting customer orders

• Producing stock availability reports

• Liaising with Logistics over deliveries and order issues

• Helping resolve retailer and customer queries

• Keeping track of actions following sales meetings

• Providing general day-to-day support to the Sales team

You don''t necessarily need years of sales administration experience, but you do need to be organised, accurate and comfortable juggling plenty of moving parts.

We''d particularly like to hear from people with:

• Sales Administration, Customer Service, Account Support or similar experience

• Good Excel and general Microsoft Office skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Confidence working with data, spreadsheets and customer information

• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines

• A professional, confident communication style

• A proactive attitude rather than waiting to be told what needs doing

Experience supporting retail customers, consumer products, FMCG or a similar fast-moving environment would be useful, but isn''t essential.

It''s a varied role where you''ll become an important part of the commercial team rather than simply sitting in the background processing paperwork.
