Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a Reliable and Skilled Temporary Cook to work for a company in ThameRole: Temporary CookSalary: 13- 16 per hour (dependent on experience)Location: ThameHours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 4-5 days per weekKey Responsibilities of the Temporary CookPrepare, cook, and present breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard.Handle orders efficiently during busy service times.Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices at all times.Support menu planning and daily food preparation.Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and organised.Work effectively as part of a team, assisting colleagues as needed.Manage stock rotation and report shortagesAbout you:Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).Level 3 Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate (essential).Proven experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen, ideally in a caf or daytime service environment.Ability to work independently and handle busy service periods.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Reliability and a positive, proactive attitude.No candidate will meet every single desired qualification we have listed.
