Nursery Practitioner

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as a key person, tracking development and building strong bonds with children and familiesMaintain records of observations, assessments, and progress using our nursery systemsSupport daily routines including sleep, mealtimes, toileting, and transitionsEnsure a clean, tidy and safe environment through daily checks and shared responsibilitySupport your room leader or manager in ensuring all policies are followed

What We’re Looking For

Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)2+ years of experience in a nursery or early years settingStrong knowledge of EYFS and child developmentExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsPassionate about mentoring and supporting your teamEmployment is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS checkCommitment to safeguarding and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care

Location and Shifts

We are located within 10 minutes walking distance to Highams Park Station and has direct bus routes to Walthamstow Central Station (Victoria Line and Overground) – offering convenient access from East, North, and Central London.Working Hours: Full-time, 8-hour shifts within our operating hours of 7:30 am - 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Shifts are allocated on a rotational basis to ensure smooth daily operations. Please note we do not offer part-time or fully flexible shift patterns for this role.
