SEND Education Lead
Are you a qualified teacher ready to step out of the classroom and into leadership?We are seeking an experienced education professional to lead a project in Barnet, overseeing both Study Programmes and a Supported Internship provision. These are mainly geared up for young people aged 16 - 25, many with an EHCP. Learners study functional skills and employability, whist undergoing work experience placements with employers.This is a management role, no teaching timetable and focused on leading staff, ensuring quality, safeguarding learners and driving high standards of delivery.About the Role Line manage a team of 11-12 staff including Tutors and Job CoachesOversee delivery for 44 learners across Study Programmes and Supported InternshipsManage the day-to-day operations of the centreEnsure provision meets Ofsted, funding and compliance standardsLead on safeguarding and learner welfareMonitor performance, KPIs and quality assurance processesCoordinate curriculum planning and programme deliveryEngage with employers, partners and internal stakeholdersYou will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered in line with education inspection frameworks, contractual outcomes and quality standards. About You Teaching qualification (essential)Experience working in education or training settingsExperience leading or supervising staffYou must have direct experience in education or training (SEND or mainstream).
