About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a focused engineering initiative centered on payment gateway integration. The work will be mostly independent and ring-fenced from other teams for rapid ramp-up and execution.Key Responsibilities

Integrate with multiple payment gateways (Worldpay preferred)Implement encryption/decryption logic with strong security standardsTranslate formats and forward gateway communicationRead and apply API documentation without heavy supervisionAssist with light administrative tasks as neededWork in a cloud-hosted environment (Azure)Must-Have Skills

Strong proficiency in JavaExperience with payment gatewaysHands-on knowledge of encryption/decryption techniquesComfortable solving network-level challengesAble to navigate and implement based on API specsNice to Have

Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Open Telemetry)Report to a Product LeaderCollaborate with senior engineers (UK and Hungary-based)Benefits
