IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Structured Cabling

Location: Hounslow, London, UK

Contract: Initial 6 months +

Rate: INSIDE IR35 Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex Telco/Cabling infrastructure projects within an Airport environments or similar infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on the connectivity and cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of project management strategies in a high-stakes airport environment.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of optical cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manage contracts effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to CDM 2025 regulations and NEC contracts, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation within the project management team.

Experience:

• Previous experience working at an Airport or Rail
• In-depth knowledge of Civil & Infrastructure projects, emphasis on structured cabling.
• Familiarity with transport network operations and the integration of advanced technology solutions.
• Experienced in building services, i.e retail outlets
• Strong background in supplier management, with the ability to negotiate and maintain productive relationships.
• Comprehensive understanding of CDM 2025 regulations contract management
• NEC3/NEC4 Contract Management Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• CDM 2015
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
