Structured Cabling Engineer Odin Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong installation and troubleshooting experience within structured cabling environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality structured cabling installations while supporting project planning and onsite coordination. Key Responsibilities Conduct site surveys and attend pre-installation meetings Plan cable routes and resolve any building or logistical challenges during installation Provide leadership and guidance to the project delivery team on-site Install structured cabling systems (CAT6 / CAT6A / CAT7) Install secondary containment systems including basket, trunking, conduit, and copex where required Install floor-mounted communication cabinets and server racks Terminate, test, and label cables within patch panels and data outlets Perform cable tracing and fault finding to diagnose and resolve network issues Skills and Experience Required Proven experience working as a Structured Cabling Engineer or Data Cabling Engineer Strong knowledge of structured cabling installation standards and best practices Experience installing and terminating CAT6, CAT6A, or CAT7 cabling Ability to test, trace, and fault-find data cabling Experience installing containment systems and comms cabinets Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and
