London based - hybrid working RoleCore ResponsibilitiesThe combined role demands expertise in both traditional database administration and modern DevOps principles: Security and Compliance: Implementing and managing security measures like role-based access control (RBAC), user authentication (SSO, MFA), data encryption, and data masking to enforce security policies and compliance standards.Automation and CI/CD: Automating routine administrative tasks and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (using tools like Azure DevOps, or ) for reliable and automated deployment of Snowflake SQL scripts and stored procedures.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Setting up and managing monitoring and alerting systems to track platform health and performance, and serving as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving pipeline issues and operational incidents.
