Repair Stress Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Repair Stress Engineer to join on an initial 10-month contract. As a Repair Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis and justification of metallic and composite wing structures for static strength to support structural repairs according to validated methods. Role: Repair Stress EngineerPay: Up to 46 per hour Via UmbrellaLocation: FiltonContract: Monday- Friday, 35Hours per week, 10 Month contractIR35 Status: InsideSecurity Clearance: BPSS Responsibilities Perform static strength analysis for repairs using Airbus approved methods and toolsCreate, compile and co-ordinate static strength justification reports and associated engineering documentationEnsure all tasks and activities required for Repair Engineering are correctly planned, monitored and executed to achieve customer time scalesWork in conjunction with the Repair Design and FandDT Engineers to develop optimum repairs Essential Skills The requirement is for an Engineer with an Aerospace Engineering background, with experience of how airframe repairs are developed and justifiedYou are able to manage multiple priorities to time, cost and quality in a challenging and fast paced environmentYou enjoy working as part of a team to develop effective solutions to complex technical problems and ensure efficient delivery of tasksAerospace Engineering degree (or equivalent) and relevant engineering experienceExperience of static analysis of aircraft structures using a range
