They are looking for a highly organised, accurate and proactive Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior Accountant to join their accounts and tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accountancy practice experience who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive firm. A study package is available for candidates working towards a relevant professional qualification. The Role Working as part of the accounts and tax team, your responsibilities will include: Recording income and expenses for self-employed clients, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns Preparing self-employed and partnership accounts for Self Assessment tax returns Preparing rental accounts for Self Assessment tax returns Preparing and filing Making Tax Digital (MTD) reports for self-employed and rental clients Preparing and filing company accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102 Preparing and filing annual Corporation Tax returns Handling incoming calls, emails and correspondence professionally Supporting colleagues across the wider team when required About You The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be: Highly accurate with excellent attention to ..... full job details .....
