Sales Support Executive

Job Title: Internal Sales and Key Accounts Support Location: Outskirts of Colchester (transport is required due to location) Job Type: 40 Hours a week. Salary: up to 28,000 depending on experience About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales and Key Accounts Support professional to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service to key clients. Key Responsibilities Sales Account Support Handle incoming sales calls and enquiries Proactively engage existing customers to upsell and cross-sell products Process sales orders and respond to stock and delivery queries Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely, professional manner Monitor stock levels and liaise with logistics to ensure timely deliveries Arrange haulage to meet customer requirements Report on shortages, delays, or lead-time concerns Support Regional Sales Directors with the planning and management of key accounts Work closely with clients to meet specific deadlines and service expectations Review and improve sales processes to enhance performance Key Skills and Experience Previous experience in a key account or internal sales role Experience with national accounts or buying groups is a plus Industry background in construction or merchant/distribution sector desirable Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Ability to thrive under pr
