AWE is looking for a

P6 Proficient Project Planner

to support its delivery of the Replacement Warhead Programme within Conventional Re-kits.

Salary range: £38,000 to £48,000

Location:

RG7 4PR , located between Reading and Basingstoke - onsite requirement is 2-3 days

Introducing The Role:

We use

P6

at AWE so proficiency with this is really important. As a

Project Planner

will need to engage with and present schedule analysis to our Project Manager’s in order to support project planning capability. You will be responsible for maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule, checking schedule integrity, providing network analysis and Earned Value Management.

Your Day Could Look Like This:

Creating the Work breakdown structure, Resource loading, Project level IMS (Integrated Master Schedule), and Project-specific basis of scheduling documentsInput into the month-end process including: updating schedule progress, undertaking schedule forecasting, updating milestone status and critical path analysisUndertaking schedule performance review including EV variance analysisProviding Planning input to Change control process, Risk and Opportunity process, and Peer reviewsProducing Planning and EV deliverablesAddressing schedule performance issues

As a Project Planner, along with proficiency in P6, we’d like you to have the following skills experience:

Development, integration, and analysis of project plansMust have Civils EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) experienceBest practice planning processes and toolsConfidence modelling processes and techniquesAn analytical approach along with proficiency with interpreting charts and spreadsheetsGenuine passion for project delivery - you want to challenge and ask questions to ensure successful delivery
