You will be responsible for delivering Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (ECandI) work packages for high-integrity and complex control systems to customer and industry specifications, within budget and schedule constraints. Projects involve machine control applications and plant-wide automation, typically for highly regulated environments such as Energy, Research and Defence Infrastructure. You will work across the full lifecycle from concept design through to final design, installation, and commissioning.Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Design EngineerProduce ECandI designs to customer specifications and project requirements, including control panel designs: General Arrangements, detailed drawings, schematic diagrams, interlock diagrams for PLC and HMI hardware, motor starters and drives, safety circuits, instrumentation and power distribution. Specify hardware and produce parts lists. Prepare manufacturing specifications. Manage interface between ECandI and mechanical functions. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet expectations. Support Lead Engineer in delivering scope to budget and schedule. Assist in managing and supervising subcontractors. Provide technical expe
