Facilities / Maintenance Operative (Student Accommodation)Location: LondonStart Date: 24th August 2026Contract Length: 1 Month Temporary AssignmentPay Rate: £15.44 per hour PAYEHours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to SundayThe RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Operative to join a busy student accommodation site in London on a temporary 1-month contract.This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the accommodation.Resolve maintenance issues including:Basic plumbing repairsMinor electrical worksWindow and door repairsBasic decorating and plastering tasksComplete planned maintenance inspections and remedial works.Respond promptly to maintenance and health and safety issues.Log and update maintenance requests using internal systems.Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety across the site.Deliver excellent customer service to students and visitors.Work closely with the wider facilities team to maintain operational standards.RequirementsPrevious experience in a facilities, maintenance, caretaker, handyman, or building maintenance role.Good all-round maintenance skills, including basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Comfortable using technology to ..... full job details .....
