Salary: c-65k75k basic (DOE) plus competitive package inc car or allowance, healthcare, bonus, pension etc.

Company & Project: A successful Main Contractor with an excellent reputation across the country in addition to a healthy project pipeline across the Mixed-Use, Commercial, Education and Science sectors are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, working as part of a team managing packages up to c-15m on a large flagship new build major project in Cambridge.

The company has an excellent staff retention rate, with a clear structure and programme in place for their employees personal development, this role is to work closely with a Commercial Lead that is very well thought of and would act as an excellent mentor.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting with and managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts - for specific packages on the project, working with the commercial team.

Previous experience in managing packages to c-5m+ is essential.

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum 10 years+ experience as an QS working for a Main Contractor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing individual packages in single value of c-5m+.
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or Comparable qualification.
• Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Commercial Manager OR Cost Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or comparable qualification.
