Shipping and Logistics Co Ordinator We are currently recruiting for a shipping and logistics co Ordinator to join a busy team for one of our clients based in Tamworth. This is a permanent role You will be Working with the Shipping Team to make proposals for changes to current practices in order to drive business and customer service improvement whilst keeping the logistics cost in line with business objectives.Daily Duties and responsibilities Preparing documentation required by HM Customs, EU, UK and destination country regulations taking into consideration the specific requirementsKeeping up to date with ever changing legislations on International Shipments and the paperwork required when shippingInput and manage data using both MRP systems and Excel spreadsheets as and when requiredLiaising with clients and suppliers via phone or emailWork with external logistic couriers to ensure an excellent relationship is maintained, and work together to eradicate any problem areas, keeping all parties informed of shipment status. Experience required for this role You would need to have more than 2 years paid experience in this type of job or something similarExcellent communication skills both spoken and writtenYou must have excellent organisation skills and be able to stay calm under pressureProficient in Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams)Knowledge of Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant fields would be required The working hours are Monday - 08 00 and Frid
