The role will suit a progressive ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-newly qualified Accountant looking for a broad and exciting opportunity. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting internal and external audits. The Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, analysing financial performance, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings Perform Shipping Reconciliations Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Monitor and improve financial controls and processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Oversee Credit Control Function Oversee Purchase Ledger Function A salary of £45,000-£50,000 is on offer plus study support and great benefits.
