Job Role and Key Responsibilities:You will play a vital role in maintaining and optimising the electrical reliability of the equipment and infrastructure, whilst contributing to efficiency, compliance and safety across the site.Deliver reactive and planned electrical maintenance to minimise downtimeTroubleshoot and repair faults across motors, drives, PLCs, control systems, and sensorsEnsure optimal performance of utilities and infrastructure to support energy efficiency goalsParticipate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practicesMaintain compliance with LOTO procedures, BS7671, and electrical safety standardsSupport production teams by promptly resolving equipment issuesCollaborate with other engineering disciplines to complete cross-functional projectsAccurately record maintenance activities and condition-based monitoring (CBM) data in CMMSThe ideal candidate will have:Proven electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environmentRecognised Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2381/2377, HNC/HND or equivalent)Up-to-date knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulationsStrong fault-finding and diagnostics skills with electrical systems and process equipmentFamiliarity with CMMS systems and accurate maintenance record keepingUnderstanding of utilities systems
