I am seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to oversee the operations in a busy manufacturing plant in Herefordshire. You will be responsible for 10 direct reports, along with a wider team of 100+. They are renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation and operate within a large scale, setting them apart as industry leaders.DescriptionProvide leadership to a team of supervisors/team leaders, fostering alignment with company objectives and values.Mentor and guide supervisors/team leaders to excel in their roles, ensuring effective team leadership and collaboration.Develop and nurture a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Co-ordinate, manage and motivate direct reports, and all shop floor employees, to achieve the planned invoiced sales schedules on due dates, to the specified quality, at minimum production/packing costs.Plan the direct labour and associated resources, to achieve the scheduled production, taking account of holidays.
