National Account Manager

An established food manufacturing business has a newly created position available for a NAM to help them achieve their ambitious plan for growth. The role would intially be site based but, following this, they''re open to discussing hybrid working options. About the Role: This position offers a mix of account management and new business. You ll be responsible for developing existing accounts while also looking for new opportunities with retailers and other customers. As a key part of the commercial team, this is a real opportunity to make an impact on business growth and performance. Expect a hands on role with a broad scope. From identifying gaps in listings to negotiating terms, planning promotional activities, and collaborating with internal teams this is a chance to be part of an evolving business. About You: You ll need experience in a business development or commercial role in food, ideally with exposure to major retailers. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a proactive approach to account management and new business, and an ability to develop lasting relationships with customer and decision makers at all levels.
