The role will involve building positive relationships, providing consistent support and helping pupils develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour.Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties or challenging behaviour would be highly beneficial.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.Support students who display challenging behaviours, emotional dysregulation and difficulties with social interactions.Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and establish clear boundaries.Use positive behaviour management strategies to promote appropriate behaviour.Help pupils recognise triggers and develop strategies to regulate their emotions.De-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely, ..... full job details .....
