In a graduate role you will work on exciting, ground-breaking projects from day one, with support to grow in your chosen discipline as well as training to develop the core skills needed to succeed in a professional organisation. We require an individual of high calibre to assist in the flood risk and drainage teams at Tetra Tech across a range of activities such as flood risk solution design, hydraulic modelling and hydrology assessment, drainage design and SUDs. We work across a diverse range of clients delivering challenging infrastructure projects for the private and public sector. Our projects typically range from Flood Risk Assessments for planning supporting developments from 10 homes up to 5,000, delivering local authority flood risk schemes from their inception through to hydraulic modelling and the design of options through to supporting private sector organisations in managing flood risk challenges on their sites. Our projects vary in size from £1m to £100m schemes covering defence, transport, local government, infrastructure, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and residential development. You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects from a project\''s inception, determining client briefs, to the delivery and close out of projects in accordance with best practice and supported by senior colleagues throughout. We provide internal project management training as well as a structured learning and development platform including mentoring and coaching, CPD and training to ensure our staff are the best they can be to deliver excellence to our clients. The projects are UK wide and some travel would be expected on occasion, including working outside normal office hours. We take pride in delivering projects effectively for clients. This often requires colleagues to be together- in offices or on site - to ensure the best outcomes. However, when possible, we also advocate for flexibility around how, when, and where you work. There is no \''one approach fits all\'' - each team manages their own way of working, we trust our employees and focus on outputs not inputs.
