You''ll work closely with the Garden Centre Manager, contribute ideas and play a part in decisions across the business.There''s also room to grow. With succession planning in mind, there''s scope for the right person to develop into a more senior role.About the RoleYou''ll take responsibility for the plant area, from looking after the plants and creating attractive displays to organising stock and helping customers choose the right plants for their gardens. You''ll also take on plant buying, building your experience in selecting ranges and planning seasonal stock.This is a hands-on role. You''ll lead a small team of part-time colleagues, organise the day''s priorities and get stuck into the practical work yourself, including deliveries and moving stock.You''ll have keyholding responsibilities and become involved in wider conversations around marketing and staffing as your role develops.
