Interim Senior HR Advisor
Location: Nottingham | Salary: Up to £50,000
Contract: 6 months, with potential to become permanent
Working pattern: 1 day per week from home

The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join an established organisation on an interim basis, with an immediate start.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the way HR operates on site, improving service delivery, reviewing policies and processes, and helping managers understand the commercial value HR can bring to the business, beyond simply providing transactional support.

Based at the Nottingham site, you will support approximately 80 permanent employees, alongside up to 50 temporary staff during seasonal peaks. A key focus will be supporting workforce planning and changes to working arrangements, including the potential introduction of annualised hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and improve HR policies, processes and service delivery.
  
  
• Coach and influence managers, promoting a more proactive and commercially focused approach to HR.
  
  
• Provide hands-on employee relations support across disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
  
  
• Support organisational change, consultation and reviews of shift patterns, working hours and terms and conditions.
  
  
• Oversee employee lifecycle administration and coordinate payroll-related activity.
  
  

About YouYou will be an experienced HR generalist with strong employee relations knowledge, ideally gained within manufacturing, distribution or another operational environment. You will be confident influencing stakeholders, supporting workforce change and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes.

A pragmatic, commercially minded approach and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.
