Your new company A leading global insurer (name anonymised) is seeking an International Casualty Assistant Underwriter to join their London-based team. Your new role As an International Casualty Assistant Underwriter, you will support the underwriting team by helping prepare quotes, binding requests, and policy documentation for both new and renewal business. You will assist with collecting and analysing risk information during the pre-underwriting process and ensure that all details are accurately recorded within underwriting systems. You will interact with brokers and internal teams, responding to queries and helping coordinate activity with global network partners to maintain high service standards. You will ensure that compliance requirements such as sanctions checks are met, support the placement of reinsurance as needed, and keep on top of administrative tasks including endorsement processing and aged debt monitoring. You will also contribute to portfolio management by assisting with the tracking of casualty rate changes and the preparation of management information reports.
